“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards” Updated DNA ReportNEW LOOK FOR 2012
Genomics, the GPS to understand our direction in lifeGenomics is our latest way to try to understand our direction in life. Just like a GPS system we need inputs to visualize where we are, our destination and alternative routes. Carolyn’s The DNA Diet program is proud to be one of your trusted guides. In May, 2010 we launched our new membership website with an evolving capacity for interactivity with weight gain, weight loss and wellness as initial goal directions. We were pleasantly surprised with the response for weight gain. 2011 has been a year leading us ever closer to the $1,000 genome and ushering in the new era of Genome Guided Nutritional Medicine. There has been an increased awareness of the importance of SHAPE of proteins and new 3-D modeling is helping to understand how minor changes in DNA may be critical. The science is moving rapidly and we are keeping abreast of how to apply the metabolism related knowledge for your benefit. What 2012 will bring for us allWho knows what 2012 will bring for us all? Will this be the year that the cost of genetic testing is reduced sufficiently to become little more than the cost of an MRI? If these tests become routine medical procedures then more of us will probably feel comfortable completing these genome wide tests as part of our health record. Once included, a new health care service will have value – one that draws on experience, family health history and smart nutrition advice – in other words, Carolyn’s DNA Diet.
