What will a DNA based food system such as Carolyn’s Six Week Weight Loss System do for me?

The DNA questionnaire is the first step in learning about your propensity to gain and lose weight. Carolyn uses our proprietary algorithm to assess which genetic group is right for you. You will then be given DNA specific menus along with specific instructions for your DNA Diet profile action plan. Carolyn will give you her focused attention to help motivate you to reach your health and weight goals. Over the six week structured program period you will learn more about yourself and your body and be given tools for a healthy way of living and eating. This diet is totally different from anything you are used to. Carolyn uses her knowledge of DNA and nutrigenomics and integrates this with her twenty plus years of experience in weight management. You will be the beneficiary!

Your Tracking Chart


Join NowThis is a chart developed by Carolyn to allow her to track the process of not only your eating habits but also your emotional state. It is an interactive chart that enables you and Carolyn to track eating trends and patterns that most affect you. You will gain valuable insight to patterns that you might not even have been aware of yourself.

arrow rightWe suggest not starting Day One until you’ve spoken with Carolyn. Once started, the system begins tracking your progress right away. In most cases Carolyn will be talking with you the same day or the day after you join the system.

Overview Page

You will be given an overview of the six weeks and the focus and goals you set.

What to Expect Each Week:


Each week is displayed simply as week 1, 2, 3, etc… After you get through the week you will have a new page appear under your membership and you will be notified via email when new pages are available. These weeks include the goals of the week and the methods to achieve them.

You will be able to navigate within the time periods however you won’t be able to modify your starting weight or waist measurements once you start the program. This is for your benefit so you are truly seeing and benefiting from the program.

Personalized Sections:


Depending on whether you are modifying the Glycemic Load of your diet, optimizing your Omega-3 and anti-inflammatory foods or adjusting your Detox Capacity, or perhaps a combination of the three, the relevant sections will be released once your profile is verified. Your coordinator will assign the relevant sections to you.

When can I expect to see and feel results?

Join NowAs the program suggests, everyone is different so everyone will have a different time line for when they will start to see and feel results. On average, you can expect to feel better, more relaxed and also more energized as and when you need to within the first week.

For purposes of dieting, you should expect to lose between 1-3 pounds per week. Often the first week is when you feel the most significant weight change with a possible plateau in the middle. To keep you motivated each week there will be new tools to maintain and attain your successes. In general you can expect to lose up to 5% of your current weight or about 10 pounds on average. This is a safe and suggested number of pounds to lose according to the national health guidelines. Losing weight at this rate is also more likely to guarantee that you will be able to keep those pounds off in the future.

What can I expect once the six weeks are finished?

Carolyn’s Six Week Weight Loss System is designed to show you the way to a healthier you . After this introductory period you will be able to carry on yourself with your new, DNA supportive lifestyle. In this respect, Carolyn’s system is not just a weight loss plan, but rather a complete lifestyle change.

Once you complete your six weeks, you will be given a maintenance plan to use. Our membership system provides you with ongoing support so you can either continue to drop pounds or to keep the weight off for good. If you so desire you may also repeat the program and do another six weeks as before. If you choose to remain a member you need only pay a low monthly fee to have access to the members’ area and receive recipes, tips, affirmations and more. There is no introductory fee to be paid for alumni of the Weight Loss Program.

Additions For the DNA Members Plan

Interactive Forums will be made available for you to help you share your experiences and talk with others who are experiencing the DNA system with you. This is totally voluntary and at your discretion. Forums are private and there is no commercial activity permitted – no direct selling or multilevel marketing for example.

New Videos are being created weekly and you will be given access to those videos in a special video section, some of which will also be available on a special YouTube channel.

Site Changes:

The member’s site is a living space benefiting from your comments, requests, and other needs. We listen to feedback from all of our members and respond appropriately.

Coming soon:

We plan to add music to the site to help you exercise to uplift and just for fun. Please be patient as this as well as other features are being developed.

Your DNA diet support staff

Carolyn Katzin MS, CNS, MNT


Carolyn is a nutritionist with twenty-five years of experience. Educated at UCLA's School of Public Health and King's College, London University in her native UK, Carolyn's expertise includes the emerging field of nutritional genetics or Nutrigenomics. Her graduate degree involved research into this discipline.

Carolyn is a lead volunteer with the American Cancer Society. She is a member of the national nutrition, physical activity and cancer control advisory group and a member of the California Division Board. Her work with cancer patients began in 1985 at The Wellness Community in Santa Monica and she remains on their professional advisory board.

Her practice now includes a review of nutritionally relevant genetic variations to provide the latest in personalized diet advice. In addition, she is expanding her telephone and internet based practice. Carolyn's book The Cancer Nutrition Center Handbook is available in Our Store. This is an invaluable guide for cancer patients and their families offering specific nutritional advice and in its fourth edition and available in e-format.
