The DNA Diet Chart Explained

Find out what the information displayed in your Free DNA Diet profile response means.

What does your questionnaire pie chart represent?

The 48 questions that led to the development of the pie chart were formulated by analyzing the genetic profiles of thousands of DNA tests. The questions were created using a combination of both lifestyle and genetic information.

There are some things you can change and some that you cannot. For example, you can’t change your birth weight but you can change whether you skip meals or not. Carolyn has developed a special and unique formula that allows her to identify those changeable factors and then help you to implement those changes. Carolyn has identified and created three main groupings of your diet profile shown within your pie chart. If your chart shows that you have three completely equal pie slices (33% for each group) then you are in balance. If the slices of pie are uneven then we need to work on the larger section(s) which is/are your most vulnerable spot(s), in order to achieve a more balanced outcome.

The three main diet groupings are:

1. Glycemic (Load)
2. Detox
3. Omega-3(and other foods with anti-inflammatory actions)

Brief explanation of each DNA diet grouping:

Glycemic (Load)

If your DNA Diet profile is greater than 33% in this particular area, then this indicates your metabolism will benefit from including high fiber foods with a low glycemic index (combined with other foods to form a low glycemic load).  These are foods that are low in simple sugars and refined carbohydrates.  In addition, we recommend including a B vitamin supplement to enhance the efficiency of enzymes involved in carbohydrate metabolism. The desirable balance is not just achieved through choosing the right foods to eat but also from learning how to take emotional and environmental issues into consideration. Carolyn’s online weight loss program is designed to combine both healthy eating and healthy thinking.

Detox

If your  DNA Diet profile is greater than 33% in this particular area, then this indicates your metabolism will benefit from including sulfur rich proteins to enhance your capacity to form proteins that assist in detoxification (Glutathione-S-transferases and other cytochrome P450 enzymes for example).  Other important sulfur rich proteins in the body include insulin and collagen.  The desirable balance is not just achieved through choosing the right foods to eat but also from learning how to take emotional and environmental issues into consideration.   Carolyn’s online weight loss program is designed to combine both healthy eating and healthy thinking.

Omega-3

If your DNA Diet profile is greater than 33% in this particular area, then this indicates your metabolism will benefit from ensuring that your intake of fats, oils and phospholipids (active forms of oils and fats) are tipped towards those with anti-inflammatory actions (more omega-3 fatty acids than omega-6).  The desirable balance is not just achieved through choosing the right foods to eat but also from learning how to take emotional and environmental issues into consideration.  Carolyn’s online weight loss program is designed to combine both healthy eating and healthy thinking.

Membership in the DNA Diet program will provide you with a personalized approach to wellness.  A progress tool is used to assess and evaluate your progress towards a state of total health balance.
